Mimi Hammill is a surface pattern designer who loves to create playful printed products to make your heart sing. She has studied, worked and played in Glasgow, London and Singapore respectively, and has been based in Aberdeen since 2007.


“There’s a floral myth that the name of the plant Verbena Bonariensis is a play on the French for “good for nothing”, due to the way it seeds itself all over the place like a weed. One of my favourite plants, I just wish it would behave that way in my own garden, just like this hand-drawn pattern.”
